Roopa Ramaiya

Roopa Ramaiya is an award winning communications leader with 20 years of experience in PR and communications and has worked internationally across a number of disruptive technology companies. She is currently VP of Communications for Feedzai who build the most advanced AI and machine learning technology to manage financial risk for the world's largest banks. Her previous roles include building and leading a global Communications function for Luno, (a global fintech / cryptocurrency company) and she has spent the last few years supporting start-ups and scale-ups through rapid growth and onto unicorn status, exit and beyond. She also led international communications for silicon valley players such as Zendesk, a global CRM platform and has built international teams managing EMEA, SSA and SEA and also worked at King.com - the gaming company behind Candy Crush. Before moving onto tech she lead communications for the commercial arm of HSBC, and the retail side of Barclays. She holds a BA in Journalism from The University of Sheffield and is accredited by the NCTJ (National Council for the training of Journalists)
