Luke is Cancer Research UK's Director of Communications, providing strategic leadership for external and internal communications as well the charity's thought leadership. He joined CRUK following six years working for The Ministry of Justice, where he oversaw strategic communications, campaigns, external affairs, and digital teams. He also led the MOJ's multi-channel response to Brexit and COVID-19. Luke started his career in journalism working for the BBC and Sunday Times, and has worked for a number of comms agencies, as well as in roles for the House of Commons, the Mayor of London, and the RSA think-tank. Outside of work he enjoys surfing and cycling and watching the Arsenal.
