Stop the Service Charge Campaign

The Royal British Legion’s Stop the Service Charge campaign has changed the lives of thousands of Commonwealth personnel and Gurkhas who are serving or have served in the UK Armed Forces, by ensuring they no longer have to pay extortionate fees to stay in the UK, a country they have sacrificed so much to serve. These personnel were prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice, and in return The Royal British Legion felt it only right that they did not have to then pay thousands of pounds, and possibly risk getting themselves into financial difficulty, if they wished to stay here.
