Greenhouse Communications

Greenhouse was established 20 years ago, in response to a film by Tearfund about climate refugees. The stark reality that those who have contributed the least will be the hardest hit continues to drive us today.

We are inspired and motivated to tell the stories of the people who are taking decisive action on climate change, from youth activists and community campaigners to businesses and NGOs. Our clients are our best advocates and consistently praise our in-depth knowledge of their sectors and ability to deliver, with 96% scoring us as excellent or good in our latest satisfaction survey. We re-invest 10% of our profit in pro-bono work, championing experts, entrepreneurs and activists of colour via Climate Reframe, and investing in future generations of climate leaders in the Global South through the provision of specialist training. With a 75% female staff and a majority-women leadership team, we are committed to gender equity and have introduced robust policies to support female, trans and gender nonconforming staff in the workplace, as well as progressive parental leave and flexible working policies. We walk the talk and are committed to the highest environmental standards. We're proud to be among the top 5% of all UK B Corps and we were one of the first agencies to set ambitious science-based net zero targets verified by the SBTi. Our business continues to grow, proving that it's possible to balance purpose and profit, and we look ahead to the next chapter of our journey with energy and optimism.
