Getting the Government to act on dazzling headlights

There are so many topics that ‘grind the gears’ of the country’s 40m drivers - think potholes, fuel prices, other people’s behaviour behind the wheel - and they are all subjects the RAC, which has a long history of standing up for drivers, campaigns on. But some work on one very specific area of huge concern to people provided a major opportunity for the RAC’s in-house PR and public affairs (PA) team to own the debate and drive real change. This is the story of a campaign that has RAC brand trust rooted at its heart and improving comfort and safety for millions of people across the UK – and potentially the world – as its ultimate goal.
