When LinkedIn was planning its sponsorship of UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 no-one knew what a phenomenon the Lionesses would become. We wanted to go back to the very beginning of women’s football and showcase the female role models who started it all – and, in the process, provide a platform to present LinkedIn’s commitment to ‘make the world of work equitable for women’. Our ‘Follow in Her Footsteps’ campaign smashed all its targets and did just that increasing LinkedIn brand love by 7%, delivering over 100M impressions on social and generating 75+ pieces of national coverage.
