2023/2024 was a record year for the Communications team at CRUK with big, impactful campaigns landing almost monthly. From influencing the Government with our#SmokeFreeUK campaign, to announcing the King as our Patron; continuing activity with the BowelBabe Fund launched in memory of Dame Deborah James, to raising £20m alone through Facebook challenges. Not only do we have the most highly regarded comms team in the charity sector as rated by journalists, but we play a central role in helping to deliver CRUK’s vision – a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
