Ben is a hugely valuable member of the British Airways Corporate Affairs team. He is one of the most knowledgeable, helpful and conscientious team members we’ve ever had in our Directorate, going above and beyond for colleagues and stakeholders every single day. He is able to work at a level significantly more senior than his years, and comfortable acting as a trusted advisor to our CEO and Management Committee. Ben manages all communications around Financial Results, works on promoting our I&D strategy and leads on the management of our CEO and Management Committee external speaking and engagement programmes. As well as Corporate Comms, he also supports our Press Office to ensure BA is reflected in a positive light. Ben started at BA as an apprentice in 2015. He then went to London Gatwick and worked as a check-in agent, customer service manager and line trainer. He then returned to Head Office working as a sales and promotions executive in Global Sales where he delivered product training to leisure and corporate customers. Following COVID-19, Ben reported directly into the Chief Commercial Officer as Commercial Comms and Engagement Manager, before joining the B2B Comms team as planning manager. Ben has always been a keen traveller, starting his own travel blog when he was 15 and studied Travel & Tourism at college.
