According to the United Nations, a staggering one billion tonnes of food is wasted each year, equating to one fifth of all food available to consumers. The food services industry is responsible for a quarter of this waste.

This campaign positioned Hilton at the forefront of the hospitality industry’s response to this global issue. Placing Hilton’s talented chefs at its centre, it combined innovation, creativity and outstanding media relations to demonstrate Hilton’s commitment to reducing waste. It has led to overwhelmingly positive consumer sentiment and is now being used as a blueprint for campaigns throughout Hilton’s European footprint.
