Derya Filiz

Derya Filiz is an award-winning communications specialist with agency and in-house experience across a range of sectors, government, corporate and public sector organisations. As Head of External Communications for Anchor, England's largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for people in later life, Derya has won two In-House Team of the Year awards (PRCA National Awards; PR Moment Awards) and the coveted Communications Professional of the Year title at the Women in Housing Awards. She is a founding member of the PRCA Race & Ethnicity Equity Board and started her career as a journalist writing for The Times and the London Evening Standard among other publications.
