As the Head of Public Affairs and Campaigns, I coordinate the RSPCA's campaigning and public affairs work in Wales and Westminster. The RSPCA works with MPS and Government to improve animal welfare standards and was instrumental in providing information which resulted in the land mark legislation such as the Animal Welfare Act being passed in 2006, the recent bans on wild animals in circuses and the live exports ban. The RSPCA rebranded in 2024 which resulted in an increase in awareness in the public and our target audience, legislators, driving increased income and support
