Anne Tyrer

Anne Tyrer is Vice President, UK Corporate Affairs and Communications at American Express. She leads the company's PR, internal communications and community giving activities in the U.K; a role that supports all lines of business including those serving consumer, business and merchant customers. Anne has been with American Express for over eight years, originally joining the company to support its Small Business Saturday and Shop Small campaigns are now entering their 11th year. Previous to American Express, Anne was Head of PR for retailer TK Maxx where she was responsible for leading UK internal and external communications and events. Anne started her communications career at Hill and Knowlton, supporting well-known brands such as Adidas and Gillette and Swiss Bank UBS with campaigns that included leverage of sponsorship properties such as The Olympics, Football World Cup and The America's Cup. In her time at the agency Anne also led the American Express account and supported its partnership with fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
